TERMS AND CONDITIONS — CRAFT UNIVERSE®

1. IDENTIFICATION

Universo Craft® is a registered trademark, owned by Inversiones Craft SpA (RUT 77.805.455-8 ), operated in Chile, legally represented by Paola Figueroa .

2. SCOPE AND ACCEPTANCE

These Terms govern the use of the site and the purchase of workshops, digital files, and training services offered by Universo Craft®. By using the site or purchasing content, you agree to these terms and our related policies (privacy, cookies).

3. HEARING AND RECOMMENDATION

The downloadable files are intended for users with basic printing and/or binding skills . If you're starting from scratch, we recommend taking a workshop with us first. Universo Craft® is not responsible for problems arising from purchases made without the necessary basic knowledge.

4. DELIVERY AND ACCESS

• The files and materials are sent by email after payment confirmation.
• Each file will be available for download up to 7 days after purchase (if for any reason the customer cannot download it, they must send an email to hola@eluniversocraft.com with their order number indicating the situation). Each digital product has up to 5 downloads per file, unless the product sheet indicates otherwise.
• For courses or subscriptions, the specific conditions (dates, access) are detailed in the product information sheet.

5. RETURNS POLICY AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT

• We do not offer refunds or returns for digital files or recorded workshops (instant download).
• If there is a technical problem (corrupted file, unreceived link), please contact us within 72 hours of purchase at hola@eluniversocraft.com Please include your order number and a description of the problem. We will evaluate it and, if necessary, correct or resend the file.

6. LICENSE AGREEMENT

• When you purchase a file, you obtain a personal and non-transferable license for its use as indicated in the product details.
• Resale, digital redistribution, making available or sublicensing without written authorization from Universo Craft® is prohibited .
• If you wish to use a file for commercial purposes (e.g., printing and selling physical products or licensing designs), please contact us to arrange a commercial license and terms.

7. PROHIBITED USES (new section)

When purchasing designs, templates and illustrations from Universo Craft®, the following actions are strictly prohibited without prior written authorization:

1. Editing or modifying copyrighted artwork (clip art, characters, vector elements) is prohibited when the product information states otherwise. If you require specific editing services, please request and contract the editing service from Universo Craft®.
2. Reselling, giving away, sharing or digitally distributing the acquired files or parts thereof (includes selling the digital file, templates in digital packs or sharing them for download).
3. Using illustrations or clipart as a logo, brand or identifying element for your business on websites, networks or commercial material, when this may generate confusion or direct association with Universo Craft®.
4. Use templates as a basis for creating new digital templates intended for resale or digital distribution. It is not permitted to use our templates to generate digital products that are then sold or shared digitally.
5. Using photographs, images or content taken from our social media (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) as promotional materials on your own channels without express permission.
6. Any other use that involves mass reproduction, redistribution or unauthorized commercial exploitation .

Consequences: If any of the above behaviors are detected, Universo Craft® reserves the right to:

• Remove access to linked files and drives without prior notice.
• Block the user from future purchases in the store.
• Initiate the appropriate legal actions in defense of intellectual property, in accordance with current legislation.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on this site (text, images, designs, videos, templates, downloadable files) is the exclusive property of Universo Craft® or its licensors and is protected by copyright. Any unauthorized use will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

9. CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS

• Verify technical requirements, fonts and software needed to use the files (e.g., install fonts).
• Provide correct contact and billing information; if an incorrectly entered email or RUT (Chilean tax ID) prevents delivery, there will be no refund.
• Save a backup copy of the files once downloaded (Universo Craft® is not responsible for file loss after the download period).

10. COOKIES AND DATA PROCESSING

We use cookies to improve your experience and analyze the site. The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, available on the website. By using the site, you agree to our Cookie Policy.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the extent permitted by law, Universo Craft® will not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, or incidental damages arising from the use of the site or digital content, nor for any business losses resulting from unauthorized use of the files. Our maximum liability for any claim will be limited to the amount actually paid for the affected product.

12. MODIFICATIONS

Universo Craft® may update these Terms at any time; modifications will be posted on this page. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the changes.

13. JURISDICTION AND APPLICABLE LAW

These Terms are governed by Chilean law. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Chile, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
